Frammenti e Superfici | Corrado De Meo
From June 26 to July 26, 2021
Corrado de Meo’s artistic research is deeply focused on the study of the matter and its infinite possibilities. Following the law of physical conservation of mass and in particular Lavoisier’s fundamental postulate, according to which “Nothing is created, nothing is destroyed, everything is transformed”, the artist focuses his research on the continuous evolution of matter. In the most recent works presented in the exhibition “Fragments and Surfaces” we discover small scenarios enclosed in a frame where, in the process of creation, De Meo symbolically focuses his attention on a fragment, a surface of the matter, representing his own emotions in it. The result is a collection of micro universes, where we can immerse ourselves in the continuous change of shapes, lights and impressions.
