Aişegül Telli

Aişegül Telli is a jewelry artist from Istanbul with a unique background in chemistry and a passion for transforming her emotions and impressions into contemporary art. She has explored various artistic mediums, from darkroom and underwater digital photography to fashion styling and watercolor painting, creating diverse projects along the way. However, she ultimately found that crafting small wearable sculptures in the form of jewelry is the most satisfying means of communicating with viewers and those who wear her creations.

Every piece she designs is a result of her experimentation with new materials, and each material she works with becomes a new expressive language for her. In 2014, Aişegül Telli introduced her first collection, called the “Undersurface collection,” which drew inspiration from her underwater experiences in the Indian Ocean.

Her work is a tribute to the underwater world and reflects her deep adoration and dedication to it. Through collections like “Undersurface” and “Anemone,” she aims to capture the beauty of sea creatures by showcasing their incredible shapes and vibrant colors. Her artistic intent is to create a sense of relaxation and tranquility for the viewer, immersing them in the intricate details of her jewelry pieces.
